iEARN: International Projects for Teachers and Students in Kazakhstan
Teachers in Kazakhstan can participate in international educational projects through iEARN (International Education and Resource Network) and provide their students with opportunities to collaborate with school students from other countries.
iEARN is an international educational network that connects teachers and students through collaborative projects. Kazakhstan is also represented in the iEARN network.
How does it work?
Teachers register on the iEARN platform, explore available international projects, and select a project that is suitable for their students.
Depending on the project, students can:
communicate with peers from other countries;
explore a shared topic;
exchange ideas and project outcomes;
conduct surveys and research;
create presentations, videos, stories, and other collaborative products;
introduce their country, city, school, and culture to an international audience.
What topics are available?
iEARN projects cover a wide range of areas, including environmental issues and sustainable development, culture, technology, education, global issues, community development, intercultural communication, and more.
This means that international projects can be integrated not only into English lessons but also into other school subjects and extracurricular activities.
iEARN Project Book 2026–2027
The iEARN Project Book 2026–2027 has been published for the new academic year, featuring international projects available to teachers and students.
Each project provides information about its topic, participant age group, timeline, proposed activities, and format of international collaboration.
Participation in these projects gives teachers an opportunity to bring meaningful international collaboration into their classrooms, while students can work with peers from other countries and apply their knowledge through project-based learning.
Before registering, we recommend reviewing the requirements of the selected project and checking the latest iEARN participation conditions for Kazakhstan.
